Today marks 21 weeks! We find out MONDAY!!!! CANT WAIT! As far as the last couple days of my 20th week... well it was interesting to say the least! Monday i decided to get up and plan an afternoon date for Matt and I. I woke up with the most awful pain down my right side. It then passed. We went and had a stroll around the Dallas Arboretum in the cool gloomy day, we were the only ones there it was really great. We got home that evening and I couldn't really bring myself to even make dinner i was so tired. Being that tired I went to bed and zonked out. Now normally I wake about 4 or 5 times to pee in the middle of the night. I only woke once! So then Tuesday I woke up and well i had that pain again. I proceeded to get in the shower, well had to get out soon after due to almost passing out. then i couldn't stand up the pain was so bad. So I decided to call my mom who we will refer to as SUPER Mom! I was so scared! Then I called the doctor but they didn't open till 8:30 so i continued to call. Well it turns out i was really dehydrated along with a pain we couldn't figure out... it could be gas...yes gas... or it could be ligaments stretching? We didn't know??? So after a day of drinking and resting Mom came to bring me tylenol and gas-x... well we now know it wasn't gas, but prolly the muscles. And I am sure it was all brought on by being dehydrated... So lesson learned. And i thought i drank enough water? Well apparently the baby takes all my liquids at this point so it is never enough water!
Now on the positive side, the baby is SO active it is wonderful! she/he is most active at night and it is so wonderful to just sit and feel the baby! Last night my cat Beany who most of you know is my first baby and love of my life! She was laying on my tummy and the baby began to move and Beany looked at me like, "mom you ok? something is moving?" I just cried from joy! It was so wonderful that my little one of 20 years, yes 20 years was able to feel her little sister/brother move! She seemed a little confused, but it was so great! I am so lucky that my childhood pet and my only roommate and now a family pet has been with me all this time to experience this! :)
And another reason i am thinking we are having a boy is cuz our child already has a sense of humor, she/he will be kicking and dancing and doing jumping jacks, but the second i tell Matt to feel... NOTHING! We just laugh, and Matt is like man... we are gonna have our hands full! lol lol lol
I am going to post pictures of our Monday date tonight along with pics of my Beany Cat, and soon I SWEAR of my tummy! :)
