The Joy The Joy!
Ok well as i'm typing this blog entry i'm doing it from my bed wearing a wonderful yellow medical mask and just took my wonderful meds for the yes... wait for it... the fab H1N1 (swine flu). Yup, this is just awesome! Matt and Jude have been tested and are negative so I'm pretty much living in the bedroom while my wonderful husband bleaches the house and watches Jude! We are praying everyday that jude does not get this! Its just crappy! But we are lucky we caught it early!!!! My parents have been awesome in helping us out! Its crazy trying to make sure your little one doesn't get some awful illness! I just CAN'T imagine him having to feel like this! And i HATE that my little girl growing in my belly has to be there while I go through it!!!!! I know she cant be comfy cozy. :( So we are fighting this and winning so far! But I'm ready to feel better and hug my boy and I DON'T want to miss his first trick or treat!!!!!! So yup.... thats it. I'll be back soon!

Random photos of Judes cuteness
These are just cute times! This summer Jude took his first trip to a water park with his friend Keegan and her mom Alyson! For anybody that knows me well enough must know that hell REALLY did freeze over that day and I think the pigs flew in to tell everybody! But Jude had a good time in the water with Daddy!
The next we just call "baby legs" Jude loves to get in boxes! It made us laugh because he stayed like that for a while! Just a goofball!
Nighttime cuddle time with Mommy (my favorite time of the day!)
Jude just being handsome! :) (he's really good at it!)

Texas State Fair 2009
It's been tradition my whole life to go on opening day when the gates open. So we packed up Jude and met my parents and hit up The Fair on September 28, 2009. My parents have a drawing done of him each year and this year he really enjoyed it! As well as Grandma got him a monkey (his favorite animal in the world) and he just thought it was thumbs up! And we decide to let him have his very first taste of meat at the fair. A Fletchers Corn Dog (which i've been told are awesome) and well he was all about it once he figured out it was "food" :)
Then well by the end of the day....
Pumpkin Patch 2009!
This is the one that Matt and I go to each year it is held at the church that we were married.
So they had a little wood face cut out, and Jude has never seen one of these before, but it is the first thing he spots and runs up to it and puts his face in and I was lucky enough to get him doing it the first time! Then he just starts to go to each different one then Daddy joins! It was GREAT! And well as you will see he is just stoked to be there running around in the patch! And of course he had to have pictures with Mommy and Daddy and all 3 of us, well 4 as you can see by my big ol 6 month belly (and 12 extra pounds!) But we had such a great time this year with him! And as we looked at the pics from last year it is just crazy how fast they change and it is wonderful but can break your heart too. You just want them this way forever! The one picture that Matt and I love (aside from any picture he's in) is the one of him at the front of the church! It was cool, he just ran up to it and it was the same shot that Matt and I have of us on our wedding day. Just cool!
CATCH UP!!!!

Ok.... I'm SO bad at keeping up on this! But I wanted to post a picture of our Baby Girl! (for some reason it will only post sideways!??) She is laying nice and comfy in her little water bubble called my uterus! She has her little hand under her chin as if she is thinking "hmmmmmm? How can I stay in here for ever this place RULES!" But we are very excited! I'm feeling pretty good. I'm tired but I tell Matt I'm not too sure if its the pregnancy or just having a toddler!? :) Either way I'm in love with my family and couldn't be happier! It's so amazing to me that I've been given such a great life! I'm truly lucky to have a wonderful loving husband and an amazing BEAUTIFUL little boy! And now with a daughter on the way... I did something right! :) So after the pic of Baby Girl I'm going to overload you with pics of Jude! And new posts to catch up the last prolly 6 months of his life! Which is SUPER busy and he changes and grows everyday!

Baby news!
Well, I haven't done an update on the new baby in some time! I'm 20 weeks this week and if you are a mom you know that means time for the big sono! :) We will get to find out what we are having and how healthy Jelly Bean is!!!! It's a very exciting and nervous time! Jude is doing great! He has now learned how to say baby, so if we say weres the baby he will pull my shirt up and poke my belly button a d say "baby". It's pretty cute! Which is good considering he is getting his last teeth(the 2yr molars). Man those are crazy! The poor kid hasn't stop teething since he was 3 1/2months old!!! Not kidding! And well if he can get the teething done before Jelly Bean arrives that will be great!! :)
On a birthing note we have made our decision on were to have Jelly Bean! We had talked about a home birth but after we talked more it was decided Jude was too young to explain it to, so we went on the hunt for a natural birth friendly place. The birthing centers just didn't feel good to me. So I opened a nieghborhood magazine we get each month(which I never ever do!) and found a dr who uses eastern and western medicine and she has practiced in very progressive states and she herself has done unmedicated births with her children. I called and met her and she was great! She delivers out of Baylor in downtown which is only like 5miles from us and I toured labor and delivery and it was great!!! I won't go into birthing detail but there are so many things my body needed last time and they wouldn't allow it. Baylor let's you birth your baby it's like a birthing center with a hospital back. It's great! We are so excited! All I can say is that with Jude all I wantedto do was squat and the hospital I was at wouldn't let me off my back it was awful! And theylet you labor however you want!!!!!!! Just great!!!!! And I found a great doula!!!! It's gonna be awesome! But I will get pictures and stuff posted tomorrow after we find out what we are having! Yay!!!!! I prolly won't even sleep tonight!

My Best Friend of 22 years!!!!!! I love and miss you Beany!
Last Saturday September 26 I lost my beloved Best friend of almost 23 years! It would have been 23 years this month!
This was one of the hardest things I have ever been through. She was there since i was a child and we were joined at the hip from then on! When I moved out of my parents home she came with me as we could not bare to be seperated! I have never had a roommate and had never lived with anybody (till i was married). Beany was my best friend and she was there for me EVERYDAY no matter what! She had the greatest personality! She had an attitude that most were scared of but I LOVED! We were so much alike in SO many ways! There was never a time she didn't greet me at the door even if I had been on a trip she would great me then let me know she was mad i left her! each night of my life has pretty much been spent with her under my arm! She didn't like to share me when it came to bedtime. I was all she wanted and she would let you know! If you have a cat then you know that they can be pretty sneaky and know how to get what they want! Well she did! Many a nights she would climb right up on the night stand and knock anything and everything off to get me up so she could eat or just get loved on! She was always a very small girl as she never broke the 7lbs mark but if you messed with her you would have thought she was 107lbs(she thought so anyway)!
I'll never forget when Matt and I got married and we introduced his 175lbs Mastiff Maggie to my 7lbs girl. Well long story short Maggie walked in and Beany walked over to her looked her in the face and punched her like three times and walked off. She strutted really! :) Beany never really had affection for any other animal out of the sheer fact i think she just wanted them to know I was hers and that was that! But On the awful day of Maggies passing Beany curled up in her GIANT bed and lay there sad knowing what had just happened. Their relationship was a bit secret as Beany didn't want ppl to know she had a soft side, but one day I walked into the den were Maggies bed was and Maggie had eaten something she wasn't supposed to and I yelled at her to say bad girl... well I turn around and catch my mean lil Beany licking Maggie on the nose as to say "its ok". It melted me due to the fact I had never seen Beany care about anything but me and her little stuffed baby. Anybody who knows me and knows the Beaners can tell you we both share a VERY similar attitude! :) And thats why we loved each other so much!
I'm So lost without my BEAUTIFUL little girl and best friend that I'm not even sure what to do!?!?!? going in and being told she had this form of oral cancer was bad enough but watching it take my baby was awful!
I'm so glad that she was able to get to know Jude and I have the most wonderful video of Judes arrival home from the hospital and Beany greeted us at the door and followed us into Judes room and I sat down and had him in my arms and she promptly jumped up and laid on the breast feeding pillow curled around him while I fed him for the first time at home! It was one of my fondest memories of my lil girl meeting my family! She loved him so much and I think she was more sad then I was when we stopped breast feeding. She loved that time to curl up with the both of us!
There are SO many memories that I have shared with her in the last 22/23 years that I could never begin to put it all down on paper!!! I just miss and love her so much! Nothing will ever be the same without her pretty little green eyes and her little fangs and her soft fur with her warm sweet purr in my ear! I miss her and love her so!
"It broke my heart to lose you,
but you didn't go alone,
part of me went with you,
the day God called you home."
