Baby Boy Update

Well, it is hard to follow up a post like Matts! He is too wonderful to me! So I will update  you on everything. We are 23 weeks pregnant, with 24 coming this week (wednesday to be exact) All has been going very well. I am growing in the areas I am supposed to grow and not putting on too much extra weight. I have a good energy level. I was even able to go hang out at Vickery for a bit this weekend! It was nice to see everybody and be out of the house a bit.
Sundays are my favorite day, I get up early bout 7 or so and I get ready and I go to the grocery store and do the weekly shopping, I come home and put the stuff away and then I clean the house. Then the best part I wake Matt up with breakfast cooking and coffee brewing (yes I am a house wife and LOVE IT). Well this sunday had another plan in store for us! This was probably the scariest day since we got pregnant! I woke up regular time to tend to the current little ones (Beany and Abby) and I wasn't feeling all that great... I tried to began my regular morning routine when I began to have a bad pain in my left side down low. Well I tried to walk it off just assuming it was the fun aches and pains that accompany the baby thing. So then it became worse and there was LOTS of pressure down low. I then decided that since walking was hard and the pressure was intense it may be time to call the on call doctor. Of course you never really know the first go round with all this it could just be gas or regular pains that are supposed to be there, so better to be safe than sorry!  Well the words you don't want to hear... the on call doctor says, you should go to Labor and Delivery for monitoring. Well this puts us in a mild panic, but still not knowing what is going on we put on serious face and get in the car and go! the pains are coming and going and they SUCK!!!! Well long story short they put us in a room strap a monitor on me,and we sit. turns out we are having none other than contractions! And they are the real ones not the Braxton things, So we stay and end up gaining more time between them, prior to leaving the house they were coming back to back. So the more time the better! As we get released I am told that I was dehydrated that AM. I have had a dehydration issue already so i am like HOLY CRAP how much do you need to drink!??!? Well the Doctor/Nurse tell me like 5 liters a day! I felt as though I was drinking ample, but this could have brought all of it on? We go to the doctor wednesday for a follow up. Once we got home yesterday evening i had three more, but they were spaced out so we are good. Just was one scary day! But My husband was right there and so were my wonderful parents! Now I am just laying in bed drinking CRAP LOADS of water and juice. I feel much better today just a bit soar, but once again let this be a lesson WATER WATER WATER! But all is well we are just monitoring everything and I am taking it easy. We will update after the apt. on Wednesday.
On a fun note: You can see this little guy moving now. You don't have to feel you can see too! It is really amazing! This is such an amazing process. All the things that happen everyday that go on with your body. It is like your body is no longer yours you are this warm pod to make sure this little baby has a nice warm safe healthy place to grow. It is so amazing. This has to be easier the second time around! It will be easier to tell what is going on with the body as the baby grows! I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband and wonderful amazing parents! It is so wonderful to know they are always there! I am very blessed and to have this little boy makes me even more blessed! I LOVE IT!
