week 20!

Well this week will mark week 20 of the pregnancy... things are going good! I don't seem to be puttin' on too much weight  maybe 5-6lbs by now, (knocking on wood) I would like to keep it that way. I am carrying right in front, just this little ball of baby. It is so funny to me that there is a whole ecosystem if you will in there. My emotions are pretty stable at this point. I am just starting on the baby's room. Matt and i will be focusing on tearing wallpaper down for the next week or two, then the oh so fun painting begins. However i am having a hard time deciding on what colors to paint the walls??? Do i do a nice classic white or do I do colors (only to have to redo when baby is like 5 and needs a change)? So i am sure by the time the wallpaper gets down and our current furniture gets out of there, we will have made up our mind. These are the oh so important tasks that take up most of my brain power these days.  

On the health side i am doing well. We did call the on call doctor for some scary pains i was feeling, but turns out no big deal i was just told to lay down and not do anything. Ya, in theory that sounds great, but since i am spending more time at home i like to keep a bit busy and there were things that needed doing, but with Matt's help all was well the next day, as we used good ol' fashioned team work! I am forgetting well... just about everything...hahahaha...i just tell ppl the baby is eating my brain. I am also at that point were simple little things seem to be a bit uncomfortable, not bad just a little odd. Like putting on my shoes, or shaving my legs, those small things just feel a little awkward.  So who knows how they will feel at 9 months?!?!? 

I must say I am ready for Feb. 4 to come! It is so crazy having to wait, it makes the days go by slower! But I know i will wake up soon enough to the big day! :) We will be taking a video tape in with us to record Baby Beans first movie! Watch out cuz I know she/he will already be a ham, after all Matt is the Father! ;)  I am not sure if i can post anything like that on this but i will figure it out prior to the Premiere of the star of "Baby Bean Fest "08"!  Till next time...
